Home is not where you live, but where people understand you. Central KY native Lee Lamont was born in Lexington, KY and embodies the spirit of the Bluegrass by helping others through future volunteering efforts at the Hope Center and her church. She likes to help people in need in order for them to get back on their feet to be successful in life.
Lexington is packed with great local restaurants. Out of all of the choices, Lee ranks Malone’s as her favorite because of the great steaks.
When it comes to having fun, she enjoys going to Keeneland because she loves the racing crowd and watching the horses race. She also states that if her first child had to be named after a horse, she would name the child “Star” after 1953 Kentucky Derby winner “Dark Star.”
When asked why someone should move to central Kentucky or Lexington, she believes they should move here because “it’s a small town with very caring people where people are welcomed and accepted.”
Lastly, when asked what neighborhood she’d like to settle down in, she would choose Hartland because it’s beautiful and close to her parents.
